Power Measurement System
Monitor your power usage with the Power Measurement System from Lightstat. The Power Measurement System is capable of monitoring power characteristics from up to eight power meters through our Energy Management web based software system.
Meters require up to three external Current Transformers (CT’s) depending on the number of phases being monitored.
Key Features
- Two serial ports, one of which to connect directly with up to eight power meters
- One relay output provides configurable contact closure in the event of an alert condition
- Real time clock (RTC) ensures time stays accurate even during a power outage with its own super capacitor
- On board temperature sensor measures internal temperature to ensure safety of the internal components
- All communications are 256-bit encrypted
- Four alert conditions are separately configurable on each power meter: Demand Warning, Demand Critical, Over Current Alarm, Under Voltage Alarm
- Continuously monitors for disconnected or malfunctioning meters
- Logs power usage data automatically at intervals from 15 seconds to 1 day
- Chart instantaneous power at the selected logging interval or kWh aggregated by day, week, and month
- Power usage data logs are retained for up to 5 years
